§ 11.01. City attorney.

  • The city attorney shall be an attorney at law licensed to practice under the laws of the Commonwealth who has actively practiced law for at least five years immediately preceding his appointment. The city manager shall review the applications of all applicants for the office and forward his recommendations to the city council.

    The council shall appoint the city attorney and the terms and conditions of such appointment shall be set forth in an employment agreement consistent with the provisions of this Charter.
