§ 5.04.1. Signatures on city checks.

All city checks shall be signed by the director of finance. When the city manager so directs, designated city checks shall also be countersigned by such other officials as the city manager may select. Any such signature or countersignature may be a facsimile one which is made by means of such mechanical or electrical devices as the director of finance may select. Before any facsimile is used the city manager shall establish a security method for storing and using such facsimile. (Acts 1974, ch. 595, Sec. 1)
