§ 10-3-1. Obedience to official traffic-control devices, signs or markers generally.

The driver of any vehicle, trailer or semitrailer shall obey the instructions of any official traffic-control device applicable thereto placed in accordance with this code, the traffic ordinances of this city or the regulations of this state, unless otherwise directed by police officer, subject to the exceptions granted the driver of an authorized emergency vehicle in this title.
