§ 1-1-6. Corporate seal.

The corporate seal of the city shall be circular in form and the design shall consist of a representation of a shipment in full sail, with a balance equally poised above the ship, and the words "City of Alexandria, Virginia" on the circumference. No other seal shall be used for the city and no paper issued by municipal authority which requires the seal of the city shall be valid unless the seal described herein shall be duly affixed thereto.
