§ 2-1-52. Calling members to order.

If, in speaking, any member of the city council shall transgress the rules of the city council, the mayor shall call him to order. If there is no appeal, the decision of the chair shall be submitted to. If the decision is in favor of the member called to order, he may proceed; if otherwise, he shall not proceed, except by leave of the city council. (Code 1963, Sec. 2-36)
