No person shall use the streets or sidewalks in the city for the purpose of selling,
offering for sale, or otherwise disposing of medicines, salves, lotions, jewelry,
toys or other articles of trade or commerce from stands or wagons with or without
a show, entertainment or other device for attracting crowds. This section shall not
be construed to prohibit the peddling of green groceries on the streets of the city,
nor to apply to merchants delivering goods to their customers. (Code 1963, Sec. 33-18)
