§ 6-4-4. Authority of city manager and police department.

The city manager, police department of the city, and other city departments as appropriate are hereby authorized and empowered to take such lawful action as may be necessary to carry out the regulations and requirements of this article, insure an orderly parade or procession, prevent obstruction to and insure the full flow of traffic, and to prevent riots and disorder, and to hire special policemen and employees to aid in these measures.
