§ 9-2-1. Definition.

The term "aircraft," as used in this chapter, shall mean any aeroplane, airplane, gas bag, flying machine, balloon or any contrivance now known or hereafter invented, used or designed for navigation or flight in the air, except a parachute or other contrivances used primarily as safety equipment.
