(a)
MOBILE FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS shall operate from a COMMISSARY that possesses a FOOD ESTABLISHMENT
PERMIT issued in accordance with this chapter. However, the DIRECTOR may allow a MOBILE
FOOD ESTABLISHMENT to operate from a COMMISSARY located outside the City of Alexandria
if the COMMISSARY is a permitted FOOD ESTABLISHMENT that has been inspected by that
jurisdiction's REGULATORY AUTHORITY and has been determined by that REGULATORY AUTHORITY
to have sufficient space, EQUIPMENT, and capacities to act as the COMMISSARY for the
MOBILE FOOD ESTABLISHMENT. (Ord. No. 4889, 6/14/14, Sec. 1)
