§ 2-1-16. Majority vote required for adoption of ordinances, etc.; voting by proxy.

No ordinance, resolution, motion or vote shall be adopted unless it shall have received the affirmative vote of a majority of the members of the city council present. Voting by proxy shall not be allowed. (Code 1963, Sec. 2-17)
