§ 2-1-12. Signing and attestation of minutes and ordinances.

After the minutes of the city council meetings have been approved, they shall be signed by the mayor or, in his absence, the vice-mayor and attested to by the city clerk. All ordinances filed in the ordinance book shall be similarly signed and attested. (Code 1963, Sec. 2-13)
